To paraphrase a LinkedIn post I wrote, it’s tough to be a creative taking part in the group therapy session on LinkedIn. It’s lame that they think AI + whatever else negates the need human creatives, bc contemporary professional life needs it’s humanity and creativity more than ever.

I was feeling good today until the CRA called to tell me that I owe the federal government thousands of dollars (CAD) I do not have because of penalties/interest/etc on the business I shuttered but didn’t properly close. I literally crumpled up on my bathroom floor and ugly cried.

We live in fractious, politically polarized times. And yet I have to believe that we’re all on the same page in thinking that setting public artworks on fire is a bad thing that people shouldn’t do.

When you’re middle-aged like, you don’t get as many opportunities to do something for the first time. You’ve tried [topping] on a pizza, you’ve visited [city/country], you’ve seen [movie] etc. Today is the first time I’ll ever go to/be at a Blue Jays game (in Toronto) while it is snowing outside. ⚾🥶
